Weddings at Blithfield

Set on our family farm overlooking Blithfield Reservoir, our rustic purpose built barn is the perfect blank canvas for your wedding day. 

Whether you're planning a relaxed weekend celebration, a midweek gathering or a romantic twilight ceremony.

Blithfield offers space, flexibility and breath-taking views from every angle. 


Capacity: 

  • Church weddings: up to 180 seated for your wedding breakfast, 250+ standing evening guests. 
  • On-site ceremonies: up to 120 seated for the ceremony, up to 180 seated for the wedding breakfast and 250+ standing  evening guests.
  • Additional space: marquees can be hired for larger celebrations. We recommend Julie and Nigel at Newcastle Marquees.


Included in all our Wedding options:

  • On-the-day coordination 
  • Planning and support 
  • Chiavari chairs and tables 
  • PA System with microphone
  • Glassware


Things you would need to hire:

  • Crockery
  • Table linen
  • DJ or Band 
  • Decor 
  • Food


We have a civil ceremony license and offer indoor and outdoor ceremonies.
